What are the differences between the cloud vs server?

The benefit of a cloud environment is that your cloud app will always have the most up-to-date features available for Confluence itself and any installed apps.

However, Atlassian Confluence Cloud also has several functional differences and when moving to Confluence Cloud. You’ll also notice a few differences with our Comala Publishing for Cloud app. Not all features available on our server apps are available for cloud.

We list all the major features in our cloud app compared to the Comala Publishing server app on the product comparison page.

You can publish

• all the pages in a space using the space settings publishing dashboard

• individual pages, on a page-by-page basis, using the publishing popup on the page

• view a publishing report showing the status of publish and sync for pages in the source space and target space

• publish a page using an applied Comala workflow
