Permissions Scope Change

You don’t need to do anything before this date.

We will soon be implementing a permissions scope change to JSU Cloud to enable us to communicate better with our customers. This change will require a manual update of JSU Cloud for our current customers. The manual update will also be required to enable automatic updates to all future versions.

What does this change mean for you?

The additional permission will enable us to access the email address associated with your Atlassian account. This permission enables the email opt-in feature that is scheduled for the same release.

With the opt-in feature, email contact will be a privacy option that you can enable in the app Settings. You will not receive email communications without your deliberate consent.
