Troubleshooting and Support
The Troubleshooting and Support page (Figure 1, right), available in the JMWE Administration section, provides guidance on debugging errors as well as a tool for automated error checking.
The troubleshooting section includes steps to follow when you encounter an issue with a post-function or other configuration. This includes links to documentation, the JMWE Knowledge base, and the Atlassian community tools. It also includes a link to the JMWE Log page, where application-specific logs can be checked. Lastly, it includes a link to the Appfire support page, where you can open a ticket when all other options fail to resolve the problem.
In addition to troubleshooting steps, the Troubleshooting and Support page includes an automated error-checking tool. This tool provides a simple count of the number of errors and warnings in the log files. It also scans the JMWE logs to look for common errors or warnings, and can often provide guidance to troubleshoot or resolve them.
