After careful consideration, HTML for Jira will be retired and archived on the Atlassian Marketplace on December 26, 2023. Current customers and evaluators were informed of this change on September 27, 2023. Please contact our support team if you have any opinions.
Configuration
After installing HTML for Jira, navigate to the configuration screen:
- Log in with the system administrator global permission.
- Navigate to Settings > Apps > Manage apps or Apps > Manage apps from the menu bar.
- Find and expand the HTML for Jira section.
- Click Configure or navigate to BOB SWIFT - HTML in the left sidebar.
The following options are available under BOB SWIFT - HTML:
Configuration
Select Configuration under BOB SWIFT - HTML to view the general configuration settings available for the app.
Enable Javascript
This controls the usage of JavaScript in HTML for Jira for issues and gadgets. When you disable this option, you cannot use JavaScript while creating HTML for fetching data from external sources into your Jira issues or gadgets. By default, this option is turned On.
Send statistics and help us improve
This allows us to collect some usage data that helps us improve the product. To learn more about what is being sent, refer to Analytics information. This configuration can also be turned off if you do not wish to share the information. By default, this option is turned On.
Whitelist
Manage the URLs the app can access through these entries.
Click Add to make an entry into the list and provide the following details:

Expression | Enter a URL or an expression here. |
Type | Select a type from the following list:

You can perform the following actions on this page:
- Add the URL after specifying the Expression and Type.
- Update after modifying the details. Select the Expression to enable editing of the URL.
- Delete to remove the URL.
- Save after adding or modifying any URL in the list.
- Cancel to abort the process.
