Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Clone Plus for Jira.

New features

New clone options

The new Versions and Components clone options are now available on the Clone Plus for Jira page, which enables you to clone the versions and components in the original issue. If you select these clone options and are unavailable in the parent issue, the new Versions and Components fields will be created in the cloned issue.

A new check box for the Comments clone option

A new Keep original comment author and date check box is now available for the Comments clone option on the Clone Plus for Jira page. You can select this option if you want to retain the name of the original comment author and the date in the cloned issue.

Enhancements

User interface updates on the Properties page

On the Clone operations > Create clone operation > Properties page, the following user interface updates are done:

• The Ignore fields field name is changed to Field includes.

• The Select Ignore fields drop-down list name is changed to Select field includes.

• The Select Field excludes field name is changed to Select field excludes.

Also, the field help for the Field includes field is updated.

Clone Plus Web Panel updates

When you select the Clone Plus quick-add button to clone an issue, the Clone Plus Web Panel now displays the functionality of the app and the Start cloning button using which you can clone an issue.
