Configure Jira create fields in Slack
Overview
Configure which fields are shown in Slack when creating a ticket for a defined project and ticket type. This configuration lets you streamline ticket creation within Slack to only the necessary fields.
You need permission from the admin portal to configure which fields we show when creating the issue.
You can choose to hide Jira fields when creating issues within Slack.
You can do this per project and request type.
If you do not create a field configuration for a specific project and request type, we show all available fields in Slack.
How to configure
Log in to account.nextup.ai.
Select HelpDesk+ Field Configuration.
Click Add Configuration.
Select the Project and Issue Type you would like to configure.
We show a list of available fields. We show fields in the Visible Fields column within Slack. When creating an issue, you can drag fields to the Hidden Fields column to remove them from Slack. Fields with the icon are required. You cannot drag them to the Hidden Fields column.
Once you have configured your fields, click Save.
