Issue Events seamlessly integrates Google Calendar with Jira Cloud, allowing you to manage calendar events directly from within issue details. The key features are:

  • Create, view, and edit calendar events: Effortlessly manage events directly from the issue view. Issue key and summary automatically populate the event title and description, providing context within your calendar.

  • Simplified event management: Edit events directly in Jira or navigate to Google Calendar for detailed views with a single click.

  • Enhanced visibility: Get a clear overview of all issue-related events across subscribed calendars, keeping everyone on the same page.

Steps

Installing Issue Events is like installing any other Jira app (seeย Managing add-onsย in the Jira documentation).

  1. Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as a Jira Administrator.

  2. Select the Jiraย Settings cog inย the top right of your Jira instance and selectย Apps. The Find New Apps page displays.

  3. Type Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration for Jiraย in the search field and press Enter.

  4. Click Try it free to install your app.

  5. Click Start free trial. A confirmation message displays once it installs successfully.

Once installed, Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration appears within the issue details of your Jira projects.
