Connect Google account

This guide will show you how to connect your Google Calendar to the Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration within your Jira projects.

Prerequisites

  • Having the Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration installed on your project.

  • A Google account.

Steps

  1. Locate an issue within one of your Jira projects.

  2. Open the details view for that issue on the right side of the screen.

  3. Click Issue Events.

  4. Click the Sign in with Google button within the Issue Events integration to start the app. A Google sign-in window appears.

  5. Select the Google account you want to connect and grant the app permissions to:

    • View and edit events on all your calendars.

    • See and download any calendar you can access using your Google Calendar.

  6. Click Continue.

Once you've granted permissions, you will see a success message and the screen to create a calendar event for the issue.
