Read confirmation progress bar
Overview
Adding a macro read confirmation will display the read confirmation bar on the content.
The read confirmation progress bar allows users to
Confirm the read confirmation
Assign readers using the read confirmation popup
view details of current overall read confirmation status for the content
view the avatars of all users who have confirmed
Users with view-only permission for the content will not see the Assign button.
The read confirmation macro can be edited to remove/add the elements displayed in the read confirmation progress bar.
Read Confirmation bar
A user can choose the Confirm button to confirm the read confirmation.
If no users are assigned as readers the read confirmation progress bar will show confirmation by the current user including the user avatar and the See who button to view the read confirmation popup.
Other users viewing the page will see option to confirm and message confirming one person has confirmed and their avatar.
An overall read confirmation status lozenge is only displayed if the read confirmation has at least one user assigned as a reader. The page subtitle read confirmation byline remains as Read Confirmation.
Read Confirmation bar and readers
Choose the Assign button to open the read confirmation popup and assign readers.
Pending read confirmation
Once one or users are assigned as a reader the current overall status lozenge will be displayed in the read confirmation progress bar.
The read confirmation byline will also change to Pending.
Partial read confirmation
If an assigned reader confirms the read confirmation and other assigned readers have yet to confirm the overall status will change to Partial.
Confirmed read confirmation
Once all assigned readers have confirmed the read confirmation bar will display Confirmed status lozenge, all user avatars who have confirmed and confirmation message.
Note that the Confirm button will be still be displayed for any user who has not confirmed the read confirmation will still be able to confirm reading the content.
Assigning another reader will change the read confirmation status to Partial (if other assigned readers).
Re-confirm read confirmation
Editing content will re-set the read confirmation. Both assigned readers and unassigned readers who had confirmed reading the previous version are retained for the read confirmation. Details for the user read confirmation can be seen in the read confirmation popup.
These users will see the Re-Confirm button on the read confirmation progress bar.
