Add the Comala list macro to a page

Getting Started with Comala Lists

Add the list macro to a page

The list macro can be used on its own or together with other Comala List macros.

All Comala List app macros (except the list log macro) are added to the body of the list macro. Each added list macro will define a column displayed on the page.

  • Add the list macro to an existing Confluence page with child pages

  • Update the page to save the change

The macro will display a single column list on the published page.

The rows are child pages of a given page (parent).

The default for the parent page is the current page (the page containing the list macro).

The macro can be edited to filter the display by content label.

If no name is entered to the Name field in the Edit macro box, the default name for the list is the title of the page to which the macro has been added.

Further columns can be added to the list by

  • adding columns by editing the list macro itself

  • including other Comala List macros within the body of this list macro

You will find all the information regarding each of the Comala List macros in the User Guide.

These list columns can be used to

  • display, manage and add labels

  • display, manage and add metadata

  • show page excerpts
