Page workflow

Overview

A Comala Document Control workflow can be added in two modes

• Page workflow - to a single document (page or blog post)

• Space workflow - added to all pages and blog posts in a space 

As only one workflow can be active on a piece of content at any one time

• You must remove any existing workflow to add a new page workflow to an individual document

• Adding a workflow across the space automatically overrides any added page workflow

Page workflow

A page workflow is add to a page or blog post on a page-by-page basis.

If Comala Document Control is installed to your instance, a user with view/edit permission can add a workflow to an individual document by choosing either

• Add Workflow breadcrumb in the content sub-title

• Add Page Workflow option in the page tools menu

Use the workflow picker to choose the Comala Document Control workflow to add to the content.

• Choose Apply to add the workflow

The initial workflow state for the chosen workflow is added as a breadcrumb to the content.
