Configuration - Cloud

After installing or updating the app, you can configure the application settings in the Configuration screen as an admin.

To navigate to the screen:

  1. Log in to your Jira instance as an administrator.

  2. In the top navigation bar, go to Settings > Apps.

  3. In the sidebar, under the Apps section, you can find the configuration option for Reports and Timesheets.

A similar configuration is available for Timesheets for Jira app on the cloud.

My Reports

To create a new report or to view your existing reports, click My Reports.

  • If you have not created a report yet, you are navigated to the design interface to create a new report.

  • If you have saved reports, you are navigated to the My Reports page.

  • For more information about creating a report, refer to Reporting Overview.

App Settings

To configure Reports and Timesheets for Jira app settings, click App Settings. For more information about configuring the app settings, refer to App Settings/Administration Overview.

Configure Reports and Timesheets for Jira as the Time tracking provider in Jira

To configure the Appfire time entry dialog on the Jira issue details page, go to Jira Settings > Issues > Issue Features > Time tracking.

  • By default, the Time tracking provider is set to the JIRA provided time tracking.

  • To enable the Appfire time entry, in the Time tracking provider list, select Reports and Timesheets.
