The App widget allows you to access BigPicture directly from a Jira project.

With the BigPicture widget, you can use BigPicture directly within the Jira projects' context. Users can create new boxes with a particular Jira project as the scope base and manage tasks through the available modules.

Security and access

  • Only Jira administrators can access this page.
  • Click the "wrenchicon at the top right and select "Widgets" from the drop-down list. Next, go to the "BigPicture widget" tab.

Enable BigPicture widget

For all Jira projects

Switch on the "Enable BigPicture widget in all Jira Projects" option in the "BigPicture widget" tab.

As a result, you can manage tasks through the available modules directly from all Jira projects. 

For selected Jira projects

To enable the BigPicture widget only for selected Jira projects:

  1. Switch off the "Enable BigPicture widget in all Jira Projects" option in the "BigPicture widget" tab.
  2. Select Jira projects manually. Use the search box to find project names faster.
  3. Click the Save button to confirm. 


Disable BigPicture widget

If you do not wish to enable the BigPicture widget in all Jira projects, switch off the "Enable BigPicture widget in all Jira Projects" option in the "BigPicture widget" tab.

When you go to BigPicture from a Jira project level, you are informed that the BigPicture widget is disabled.
