The WDC (Legacy) page displays the Web Data Connector URL. To view the WDC URL, navigate to Jira > Tableau Connector Pro > My Connectors > WDC (Legacy).
The Connector URL is unique to each user and maps the user’s Jira permissions behind it.
The Web Data Connector URL can be added to Tableau Desktop as a data source to import the data.
It is recommended that the user use the OData datatype connector, as Tableau has marked WDC 2.0 as deprecated. For more information, refer to My Connectors.
The Web Data Connector URL generated has anonymous access to users.
To make the Web Data Connector URL secure, set up the Access Code. To set an Access Code, click Edit (
), enter the access code, and click Save( 💾).
