This page details how to publish data from Tableau Desktop on Tableau Cloud and schedule data refreshes.

Publish the Tableau Workbook from Tableau Desktop to Tableau Cloud

To import the data using the OData connector and create the workbook you want to publish, refer to Import into Tableau - OData.

In Tableau Desktop, navigate to Server > Publish Workbook.

To publish the workbook on Tableau Cloud, click Tableau Cloud.

To connect to Tableau Cloud, enter your Username.

To connect to Tableau Cloud, enter your Password.

The Publish Workbook to Tableau Cloud dialog displays the publishing details.

To manage Data Sources, click Edit.

To schedule refresh, from the Authentication drop-down, select Allow refresh access.

Click Publish.

The workbook is published on Tableau Cloud.

To view the published workbook data, click on the sheet.

To schedule a refresh, navigate to Extract Refreshes > New Extract Refresh.
