Overview
Space publishing publishes all the unsynced pages in the source space to the target space. A space publishing action by a space administrator can be filtered to only publish pages that are in the final state of the applied workflow. The publishing report can be used to publish pages in the workflow final state that are not currently synced.
Space publishing of all the pages in the workflow final state
A space administrator can publish only pages in the workflow's final state using the space publishing option.
The space administrator filters the Publish space action by making active the Only publish pages if they are in the final state of the workflow setting.
When active, publishing all the pages in the space using the Space publish option only publishes source pages that are in the workflow’s final state and that are not synced.
Pages not in the final state of the workflow are not published.
Publishing from the publishing report
You can also choose to publish all the pages in the workflow final state using the publishing report Publish option when the Workflow in final state + Not Synced report filter is applied.
Only the source space pages listed in the workflow final state filtered report are published. These are pages in the workflow final state and that are not synced.
This setting is useful when developing your source page page content without publishing enabled for the space. You can enable publishing and publish all the approved pages in the final state in a space publishing action. It is also useful to help identify previously published pages that may have been updated in the target space and are out of sync with approved pages in the source space.
