New

New Resources module (beta)

Yearly timeline view

The yearly resources timeline view is now available for the new Resource module (beta) to help you plan and analyze your team's tasks, capacity, and workload for the long term.

• You can set your timeline's time period to one year.

• Customize it to start on a specific date.

• Aggregate it by weeks, months, quarters, and a year.

Today’s date marker

Click the Today button to see a marker on the timeline. The marker can activate only if the today’s date is within the time period and aggregation you selected.

Restore Jira tasks order (Gantt and Scope modules)

You can see the same order of tasks as in Jira. The feature works for the Gantt and Scope modules.

When you restore the tasks order, any previously applied tasks order will be deactivated. This operation will affect the tasks for all users.

Update window tab

There is a new Update window sub-page under the App Configuration > Advanced page, where you can set a preferred 4-hour update time window. By setting the time window outside your organization's working hours, you can ensure that an update does not affect any user.

If the toggle is switched off, an update will occur after an hour of inactivity on the platform.

Multi-select users and groups on the Security page

You can multi-select users and groups on the Security page at the BigPicture Administration and box configuration levels.

Gantt & Board modules

Redesigned Dependencies section in the Infobar

Dependencies are now displayed in the Infobar panel of the Gantt and Board modules, organized in expandable sections by category:

• Broken dependencies - strong dependencies with scheduling conflicts.

• Correct dependencies - strong dependencies without scheduling conflicts.

• Non-scheduling dependencies - soft dependencies that don't affect scheduling.

Each section includes a counter showing the number of dependencies in that category.

Filter dependencies based on swimlanes (Board module)

Dependencies are filtered based on the swimlane type and values selected.

Partial release

Inline edit fields with just one click

We're excited to partially introduce the possibility of inline editing fields with a single click, replacing the previous double-click requirement to enhance your BigPicture experience. This change is currently being tested with a selected group of users to gather feedback and ensure the best possible user experience. This means some users will see the new feature while others will continue with the existing experience.

The inline edit mode is activated on the first click when:

• You click on the task tree of a selected task on a field that is inline editable

• You click on an inline editable field in a task details dialog

The change is available in the Gantt, Scope, and Overview modules.
