  6. You can enter a JQL query to include only a subset of the project issues in the snapshot. Read more about filtering issues.
When this option is selected will include issue attachment files for all selected projects. If not selected, Configuration Manager will offer an option to provide the path where the attachment files reside on the target system during snapshot deployment.
(info) If a snapshot with that name already exists, you will see a warning.
(info) The snapshot always includes the attachment metadata. However, attachment files are not included in the snapshot by default, as the snapshot grows very large. If the attachment files are not included in the snapshot, during the deployment, you will be presented with an option to provide the path where the files reside on the target system. Learn more about including attachments in a snapshot in the Move Attachments tutorial.
(info) Note that issue data can be deployed into projects that already contain issues. In this case, issues are compared based on the issue number. Existing issues are not modified.

Example: snapshot Snapshot contains issues with numbers 1X, 2Y, and 3Z. The target project includes issues 1 X and 2Y. During the deployment, only issue 3 Z is created; issues 1 X and 2 Y are skipped.

  7. Click Next to add filters in the snapshot, Agile boards, and Dashboards.
