When the filters used to specify the scope of the report return a relatively large number of results, it might take a while to prepare the report. That’s where Background Reports enter the scene: You can create reports that are running asynchronously in the background while you go about your business.

Note

If you have a high number of issues, we strongly recommend that you use Background Reports. Otherwise, you might get a timeout error.

This page shows all of your existing background reports, including Report Type, Request Time, State Details, and more. You can download your background reports here as well.

  1. Report Name – The name you picked + the date of the report that was automatically added will be shown here.

  2. Report Type – Shows the type of the report. Please note that SLA Durations Report is not available for background reports at this time.

  3. Request Time – Displays the time you requested the report at.

  4. State – Thecurrentstate of the report appears here.

  5. (blue star) icon – Click to reveal the dropdown menu, which shows Add subscription, Download report, and Delete report.

  6. Add subscription Enables you to add periodic reporting to the background report you generated.

  7. Download report – Click to download your report in XLSX format.

  8. Delete Report – Click to delete the report.
