Power BI Connector: Data Center and cloud feature comparison

The following table lists the functional difference between the Data Center and cloud version of the Power BI Connector app.

Secure access to Connector URL (Connectors > Make Private) - Set connector username and password

The Web Connector URL is, by default, secured as Jira authentication is used.

It is recommended to set a username and password to ensure a secure Web Connector URL (though the Administrator has not made it mandatory). Refer to My Connectors.

Assets (formerly known as Insight) Integration - Email and API Token

Email and API Token is not required as Jira authentication is used.

To import the Assets (formerly known as Insight) data, you must set up the Email and API Token. Refer to Insight (now Assets) Integration.

Projectrak Integration - API key ID and API key

API key ID and API key is not required as Jira authentication is used.

To import the Projectrak data, API key ID and API key are required. Refer to Projectrak Integration.
