What’s changing?
Over the past five years, 7pace Timetracker has introduced various improvements that enhance time management and productivity in Azure DevOps. Global search filters, timesheet suggestions, and optimized user interfaces allow for a better user experience. Notable features such as the Reporting module, time tracking rules, or improvements in the Approval process have streamlined project management and financial oversight.
The time has come for us to align our pricing with the value that 7pace Timetracker provides. The following prices will go into effect on June 26, 2024:

Loyalty Pricing & 30-day Grace Period
We’re grateful to have many customers who have been with us for five years or longer. In that same period, as we’ve invested in the product, we’ve only increased prices once, with that change impacting less than 1% of our customers.
Following the effective date, existing customers will receive a 30-day grace period, after which you will be migrated to a modern plan. If you purchased your plan recently, this will result in a 15-44% price increase. If you purchased your plan more than three years ago, then this may have a significantly bigger impact on your price.
To help ease this transition, we will automatically apply a Loyalty Discount to all customers currently on Legacy Plans purchased before August 2021. Loyalty discounts will vary based on the age of your Legacy Plan and impact on your pricing. Please be on the lookout for an email to your billing contact for details of your specific Loyalty Discount. Why are you changing prices at this time?
Our goal is to provide fair pricing that reflects the investments we’ve made in this product and the value it provides to our customers. At the same time, we continue to support small teams with free access to effortless time tracking software and larger organizations with progressive pricing that scales with you. After a thorough evaluation of our existing pricing, the time has come for our pricing plans to reflect fair market value.
What investments have you made in 7pace Timetracker?
Over the past five years, 7pace Timetracker for Azure DevOps has introduced several features to enhance the user experience, streamline project management, and provide deeper insights through advanced reporting and analytics.
Time tracking and Reporting have been improved, enabling more detailed time entries and reporting for productivity analysis. Timesheet suggestions and reminders led to more accurate entries and a decrease in admin workload, while the introduction of Geo-distribution and optimization of user management allowed for faster response times.
The streamlined approval workflow for Timesheets has increased accountability among individual contributors and teams. Additionally, enhanced tracking of billable hours offers real-time expenditure monitoring for better financial oversight. New API versions provided powerful and more effective integration with ERPs and reporting tools.
Finally, the 7pace Timetracker user interface, including new dashboards and widgets, has been thoughtfully optimized for better usability. Customizable time tracking rules support a wide range of project management needs, making the app flexible for different types of teams.
Do I have to move to the new pricing plans?
New prices will go into effect for new customers on June 26, 2024. Following a 30-day grace period, all existing customers will be migrated to their corresponding new pricing plan on July 26, 2024, with the new prices taking effect on their next upcoming renewal date. While we will be retiring the old pricing plans on July 26, 2024, customers on current plans can lock in their prices by renewing early or converting from a monthly to an annual plan. See below for more details.
Can I get a discount or lock in my current prices?
If you are on a current monthly plan, you can switch to an annual plan before July 26, 2024 to lock in your current pricing and take advantage of our annual discounts. If you are on a current annual plan with a renewal date after July 26, 2024, you can renew early to lock in your existing prices, and your renewal date will be reset to match.
If you have an older (legacy) plan and you received a price change notification, your Loyalty Discount will be applied on your next renewal before July 26, 2025. Please refer to your price change notification email from June 18, 2024 for details. Please note that loyalty discounts will be applied to current pricing at the time of renewal.
If you did not receive a Loyalty Discount in your price change notification email, then you are likely on the current pricing plan, and a Loyalty Discount will not be applied to your account on July 26, 2024.

Will there be additional price changes?
Moving forward, we plan to review our pricing every year to ensure we’re priced fairly and competitively. This may or may not result in price changes. But our hope is that by bringing all our customers up to modern pricing now, any future adjustments will be less impactful.
Can I lock in my subscription for more than one year?
Through our self-serve portal, you can purchase monthly and annual plans. While we do not offer multi-year discounts, customers on our Ultimate plan can reach out to us at sales@7pace.com to inquire about paying upfront for a two-year subscription.
Will my billing cycle, renewal date, or any other subscription details change?
No, if you do not initiate any changes to your plan, your billing cycle (annual or monthly), renewal date, user tiers, and other subscription details will stay the same.
What do I need to do to keep using 7pace Timetracker?
All billing changes will happen automatically, so you do not need to take any action. When it comes time for your renewal, simply follow your normal process.
