Improvements

This release is dedicated to UX improvements of:

  • OKR properties selectors (Labels and Collaborators);

  • Settings in general;

  • Labels settings page;

  • Teams settings page

… and an important change to Manage teams permission with (warning) action required from OKR app administrators.

Manage teams permission changes

Affected clients

Only clients using the following OKR permission schemes are affected by the change:

  • Advanced permissions setup

  • Global settings control

  • Global settings & editing control

What has changed

TL;DR:

  • We removed “Manage team” advanced permission and added “Manage all teams”, which allowed all OKR admins to manage any team (which was not the case for OKR local admin specified in OKR app settings)

    • (warning) OKR admins on instances using “Advances setup” in Permissions should review the permissions and assign “Manage all teams” permission to required groups; by default, only OKR Admin group has it.

  • We allowed any user to navigate to the Settings → Teams, allowing Team Admins and Managers without OKR administrator or “Manage teams” permissions to access Edit team menu.

A similar improvement is planned for Owners and Teams pickers; let us know if you are looking forward to it.

The following changes and improvements have been introduced in app settings:

  • “Settings” header has been added to the list of settings on the left side bar;

  • Unified naming and page structure for all the settings pages;

  • Search has been added to the Labels settings page;

  • Basic pagination has been removed from the Labels and Teams settings pages, and the whole list of available items is loaded and can be easily filtered;
