Release notes 6.9

What's new

Provide search criteria to filter table data

Users can now perform simple text-based searches or complex searches using regular expressions to display just the required information. Enable the Display data filter option from the macro editor to see a filter panel that appears on top of every table that the macro renders. The panel contains a text box to enter the required search criteria and buttons to proceed with the filter or to clear the box to start a new filter. To learn more about regular expressions, refer to this article.

Provide delimiter for dowloaded or exported files

Users can now specify any single character to be used as a custom file delimiter for the downloaded or exported file. This feature is enabled only if Allow download and export in the macro editor is selected.

  1. Select Allow download and export.
  2. Enter the delimiter to be used for the downloaded or exported file.

Enforce user-defined styles for rows and columns

Users can now avail the Apply column styles to column cells option and the Apply row styles to row cells option to make the styles persist for rows (Table row styles) and/or columns (Column styles) on the pages. By default, these options are disabled. Enable any of these options to override the default Confluence styles so that the user-defined styles are rendered in its entirety on rows and/or columns.
