SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget

The TTS - SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget displays the number of SLAs that are met, breached, or in the critical zone based on the assignee or specific SLA, providing a visual representation of the performance.

This tutorial will walk you through the process of adding the SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget to your dashboard.

Add the TTS - SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget

If you're a Jira admin, you can add this gadget directly to the system dashboard (Global dashboard) without creating a new dashboard. If you’re not a Jira admin, follow these steps:

  1. Open Jira Cloud and click the Dashboards drop-down menu.

  2. Select Create dashboard. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to customize the new dashboard to your preferences. Click Save.

  3. After creating the dashboard, click the Add gadget button in the top right-hand corner or the Add a new gadget links in the columns. A side panel will appear.

  4. Write TTS - SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget to search, then click Add Gadget.

  5. You will now be able to configure the gadget.

Configure the SLA/Assignee Performance Gadget

  1. Add a title for the gadget.

  2. Choose the grouping option based on SLA or assignee. The Filter and Assignees/SLA dropdowns appear.

    1. If you choose to group by SLA, enter the filter as a scope of this gadget and the SLA that you want to see on it.

    2. If you choose to group by assignee, enter the assignee names that you want to see in this gadget and select filters to narrow down the displayed issues.

  3. If you want to see the SLAs based on remaining duration, click the Add remaining duration option and choose default value (8h, 24h, 48h) or add a custom one.

  4. Click Save, and the gadget will load in the panel view.

Here are the results of the configuration shown above. You can view the results in Panel View or Table View, as demonstrated below..

 

 

 

Gadgets & Reports

When you click on any of the bars in a gadget, you’ll be taken to the SLA Reports page. According to the gadget’s configuration, TTS will automatically create a filter, and you can click “Generate” to see the gadget’s components in the report form. Check out the example below:

For example, when you click “Exceeded”, the Filter will show “SLA Indicator: Exceeded”, meaning you’ll only see the exceeded SLAs in your report. You could change this by playing with the configurations as much as you’d like.
