A project administrator can create a notification scheme at any time and edit it to fit their requirements.
Project administrators must use the Edit Notifications option to create a new notification scheme.
Navigate to Project settings > Edit Notifications > Create it now to create the notification scheme.
Yes, you can. To delete a notification, click the Return to the previous configuration link available at the bottom of the respective notification.
To set the Prepend name field, navigate to the app's Global Configuration page from Manage apps.
The Prepend name is prepended to all notification schemes created through this app. This helps you to identify which notification schemes are maintained locally.
For example, if:
- Created notification name: My Project notification scheme
- Prepend name: Production
The name that shown under Notifications is: Production: My Project notification scheme.
The default maximum number of users per group is 100. This value restricts the number of users in a group that can be added through the Project Notification Editor interface.
Yes, you can change the maximum number of users in a group.
If a project administrator tries to add a notification for a group that has more users than this setting, a validation error is shown and the group is not added. The group can still be added through the regular Jira notification editor.
Yes, you can use the notification scheme created with the Delegated Project Notifications for Jira app in other projects.
