SSO 3.X - Step 1: Performing prerequisites check

The content is intended for IDP Admins, Atlassian System Admins, thus we are assuming that the audience has sufficient and relevant technical knowledge.


Before you set up Global SSO 3.0, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  1. For Global SSO, the Atlassian products must be accessible via HTTPS only.
  2. IDP should support SAML 2.0 Assertions.
  3. You will need to get a signing certificate from IDP.
  4. All Atlassian applications selected to work with Global SSO should operate under one subdomain.
