Step 1 - Run CCMA (Security & Encryption)

everything on the previous page - Migrate Security & Encryption Server to Security & Encryption Cloud
the feature differences document and now understand the macro differences
Guide
1. Upgrade the Security and Encryption app
In Confluence Server, ensure the Security and Encryption is up-to-date.
To check
go to gear icon ⚙> Manage apps
search for Security and Encryption from the list
make sure that the app is updated to latest version
2. Prepare the Migration tool
Migrate your data using the Confluence Cloud Migration tool.
navigate to the Migration Assistant homepage
choose Assess Your Apps
In the Assess your apps window
mark Security and Encryption as Needed in Cloud
complete the assessment
when prompted, agree with the app data migration policy
3. Perform the migration
Start a new migration process
going to Manage your Migration menu > Create new migration
follow the instructions in the process.
At the end of this process, you have the option to
immediately start the migration
or Save it for later
In both cases, the new migration process is saved to your dashboard. There, you can view the progress and details of all your migrations.
Ensure that the app data migration is successful
In the Migration dashboard
choose View Details to see the status of the migration
Wait until you see a COMPLETE status.
If the status is different to COMPLETE or no message is displayed, it means that migration has failed. Contact Appfire support for assistance.
