Description

Dropdown List is the new name for the Field group macro field named Custom Field. For more information on all field group macro field name changes, read Field Group macro

Generates a dropdown list with custom options.

Parameters

Allow Multiple	Optional	Unchecked	If checked, this allows more than one option to be chosen from the dropdown.
Field name	Yes	random name (text string)	A descriptive name for this field random name is generated by default You can also key in your own field name, which can be useful when integrating Scaffolding with other apps such as Reporting for Confluence. The field name is mandatory and must be unique.
Helper Text	Optional		Gives context or additional information about a field input appears at the bottom of the field The helper text will only appear when you edit the content, not when viewing it.
Labels-Status	Optional		Color options for text labels to help highlight information, improve organization and make it easier to see changes choose from five different colors
Labels-Text	Optional		A list of options for the dropdown, separated with newlines. For example Not started In progress Done
Required	Optional	Unchecked	If checked, the user must select a option (mandatory) as this field cannot be empty when checked.

Required option considerations

If you enable the Required option, you will not be able to Save Changes in editor mode until you have selected an option. An example error message is shown below.
