Audit Log 5.0.8
All the important events that are done by Administrator(s) or delegated user(s) using Delegated Project Creator for Jira are captured and shown in the Audit Log page. To view this page:
From the Cog menu, select Manage Apps.
Locate the Delegated Project Creator section in the left sidebar.
Click Audit Log to view the list of events captured from the app. This is a read-only page.
A maximum of 50 events are displayed in a page. Click Prev or Next to move to the previous or next page respectively.Â
In this page, you can:
Click Export on the top right corner of the page to export the audit details with all the columns displayed in the page to a CSV file.
Search for the events based on the following filter criteria:
Filter by Templates: This select-list displays all the templates used while creating the project(s) or while requesting for the project or while creating/editing the project templates. Select one or more templates or All templates to view the respective results in the page.
Filter by Authors: This select-list displays the users who did the action. Select one or more users or All Authors to view the respective results in the page.
Filter by Actions: This select-list displays the corresponding actions taken within the app. Select one or more actions or All Actions to view the respective results in the page.
Audit Date Range: Add start date and end date from the calendars in the respective fields and click Apply to view the audit log that are captured between the mentioned dates in the results.
3. Click Clear filters to clear the search criteria.
4. Click on … button to access the Audit Log Settings where in ‘Audit logging’ can be enabled or disabled and ‘Audit log retention period’ can be changed to either 1 month/3 months/6 months. By default ‘unlimited’ option is selected. Based on the selected ‘Audit log retention period’, all events that are more than selected months old will be permanently deleted. If ‘unlimited’ is chosen, no events will be deleted.
