Live Fields administration

The Live Fields for Jira Cloud app includes an administration page where you can view, modify and enable or disable your live field configurations. To access the Live Fields administration page:

  1. Log into your Jira instance as an Administrator.

  2. Click Settings in the upper right corner.

  3. Select Apps.

  4. In the left-hand panel, click Live Fields under Apps.

The Live Fields administration page (Figure 1, right) displays a paginated table listing all configurations for your instance. The page includes, from top to bottom:

  • Page toolbar - The upper right corner of the page includes a menu with several commands:

    • Documentation - Open the Live Fields documentation.

    • Troubleshooting & Support - Open the Appfire Support portal to submit a support request.

  • Search - Search for configurations by name.

  • Create live fields - Open the Live field configuration screen to create a new configuration.

  • Live fields table - The table listing all Live Fields configurations in your instance.

    • Pagination - For instances with many live field configurations, the table will be paginated with navigation controls under the table itself.

The table itself includes the following:

  • Enable/Disable - Use this toggle to enable or disable a configuration entirely.

  • Field name - The name of the configuration.

  • Projects - The number of projects to which the configuration has been applied. Hover over the badge to see a list of specific projects.

  • Issue types - The number of issue types to which the configuration has been applied. Hover over the badge to see a list of specific issue types.

  • Screens - The screen types to which the configuration has been applied.

  • Action menu - A set of shortcuts to actions related to the configuration.
