Installing or Re-installing on Jira Cloud
Install the app
To install the app, follow these steps:
Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as an administrator.
Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select Apps.
Search for ‘JMWE’ and select Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE).
Click Try it free.
Click Accept & Install to confirm the app installation.
The system displays a progress message for the operation.
Click on Get Started to go to the Welcome page for the app.
Important
After successfully installing the app, we recommend that you verify your Jira instance configuration to make sure all JMWE features will be able to work properly.
Re-install the app
To uninstall and then re-install the app, follow these steps (don't skip any):
Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as an administrator.
Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select Apps.
Click on Manage apps and locate Jira Misc Workflow Extensions.
Click on the app to display its details view.
Click Unsubscribe or Stop Trial (depending on your subscription status).
Click Uninstall.
The system displays a progress message for the operation. Once finished, the app is removed from the Manage apps page.
Click on Find new apps and search for ‘JMWE’.
Click on the app to display its details view.
Click on Subscribe.
Click on Accept & Install to confirm the app installation.
The system displays a progress message for the operation. Once finished, the app is reinstalled.
Click on Get Started to go to the Welcome page for the app.
Reinstalling the app will not modify your configured workflows. However, while the app is inactive, Jira might start failing transitions which have JMWE post-functions configured, so you want to minimize the time between un-installation and re-installation of the app.
Unsubscribing and then re-subscribing to the app will have no impact on billing, as long as you unsubscribe and then re-subscribe on the same day.
