Overview

Because Microsoft has deprecated Microsoft Teams Connectors, we can no longer utilize Connectors to send Channel Notifications. Instead, please follow the instructions below to set up notifications for a channel.

Prerequisites

 

 

 

Enable channel notifications

  1. Open the channel you would like to configure.

  2. Type: @Jira Integration Plus configure to the Jira Integration Plus bot in the message bar.

  3. Click the Channel notification settings in the bot response message.

Configure channel notifications

  1. Configure the events you want to be notified about:

    • An issue is created

    • A comment is added

    • Assignee is changed

    • Priority is updated

    • An issue is edited

    • An issue is moved to another project

    • An issue is transitioned to another status

  2. Choose the status type.

  3. Select project(s), issue type(s) and priority level(s).

  4. Set the delivery frequency at which you want alerts delivered.

  5. Click Save.
