Release notes 1.1.0 - Cloud

What's new

JWT Authentication now available

With this release, the Graphviz Diagrams for Confluence app now uses an updated JWT (JSON Web Tokens) authentication method to verify user credentials. This method makes accessing data and using the app more secure for users.

Administrators, who are already using this app, must update the app explicitly, to avail the features with this version.

Access data easily from external sources with Profiles

A new Profiles tab in configuration settings now allows administrators to create and configure profiles to connect to remote locations or applications such as GitHub and GitLab.

  • The improved Add profile dialogue allows you to specify an access token, header parameters, and URL parameters that are required to request the remote source; for example, when including source from GitLab.
  • All your profiles are displayed in a new tab called Profiles in the Graphviz Configuration page. You can add, edit, or remove profiles here.
  • Once you create and save a profile for your remote file location, users can use this profile in the macro editor across multiple pages.
