Improved configuration details transfer in server to cloud migration
Administrators can seamlessly migrate all data configurations, including global configuration properties, from server to the required cloud instance using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant wizard.
Administrators must upgrade the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) to its latest version before proceeding with the server to cloud migration process.
All global configuration in the Configuration page are transferred from the server instance to the cloud instance as specified in the Cloud Migration Assistant wizard.
If multiple migrations are performed on the same cloud instance, the latest migration takes precedence.
Any subsequent migrations performed on the same cloud instance only adds or merges the data, but does not delete any existing data.
Introduction of two new configuration settings
Administrators can now control access and display of data on remote locations using the following new parameters available on the Graphviz for Confluence Configuration page:
Allow JavaScript: Control usage of JavaScript in the macros. This parameter must be used with due caution as there is a possibility of encountering security issues.
Blacklist domains: Restrict macro access to data on remote locations through a pre-defined list of blacklisted domains.
Introduction of a new PlantUML macro
Users can now display UML diagrams on Confluence pages using the new PlantUML macro available with this release. The PlantUML macro primarily works with the PlantUML language which is simple and intuitive. With this macro, you can display of UML as well as non-UML diagrams and save these graphs as PNG and SVG images. Refer to this guide for more information about the examples of PlantUML diagrams.
