Release notes 2.0
2013-01-07
Migration
Once release 2.0 or higher is installed, Confluence will automatically start migrating Confluence 3.x style macros supported by this app to Confluence 4.x native macros. For this reason, it is not easy to move back to a previous app version.
Highlights
Native Confluence 4.x macros
Editor and macro browser support. Confluence 3.x wiki macros are still supported.
Attachment support
Adds the ability to save graph as an attachment. Supports the same methodology and parameters as the chart macro. This enables the use of Graphviz diagrams with the Cache macro. It also enables other reuse scenarios.
- attachment - name of attachment using standard attachment name convention: examples - graphviz.png, page^graphviz.png, or space:page^graphviz.png
- attachmentVersion - new, replace, keep
- attachmentComment - comment for attachment
- thumbnail - thumbnail support
Attachment can be on current page or another page in current or other space using standard attachment name convention.
In addition, @home special value can be used for the page portion of the name to resolve the the home page for the space.
Linking improvements
Greatly improved ability to easily create images that have links to Confluence content and other urls. See How to add links to graphviz images.
Other improvements
- Improved error and warning handling
- showCode parameter to show the Graphviz markup code
- Improved inter-operability with other macros and other Confluence support
