New features

We are thrilled to announce the release of the Saved Views feature, which allows quick navigation between different views and sets a Default view per project.

Saved views

With the help of the new Saved Views feature, users can quickly switch between views with a set of parameters, including:

  • Priority table:

    • Filters

    • Table Layout

    • Sorting

  • Priority matrix:

    • X-axis

    • Y-axis

    • Bubble size

    • Color

    • Labels

Saved views can be easily shared with colleagues.

Saved views are stored per project.

The Saved views selector is located at the top right part of Priority tables or Priority matrix pages.

Default view

Even more important development is an outcome from the Saved views feature - Default view.

If you mark a Saved View as Default, every new user visiting the selected Foxly’s project will land on the Default View. We strongly recommend having the Default view for every project using Foxly.

Enhancements

Share views from the address bar

Our parametrized URL can now be easily shared with colleagues from the address bar.

Filters are persistent when switching from Matrix to Table

We improved the experience of returning back to the Priority table from the Priority matrix: filters do not reset when you do such a navigation.

New backend sorting improves the performance

If you sort the Priority table by the Score (Priority score), Jira custom field, or a Priority metric that is aligned with a custom field, the sorting will be done on the backend. This means that the table is loaded much faster, and it doesn’t have a limit of 1000 issues being loaded.

If you decide to sort by a metric that is not aligned with a Jira custom field, the previous limitations will be applied.

UI improvements of Filters and Column selectors

Custom field and Metrics selectors that are used to determine the layout of the Priority table have been merged and replaced by the Columns selector.

We also improved the UX of the selector: selected custom fields and metrics are displayed at the top, which allows easy access to them in case you want to uncheck them:

We also left the most popular basic filters while hiding the ones that are not widely used by the “More filters” selector.

Labels are not truncated if space allows them to

We heard you that long labels shouldn’t be truncated if space allows not to. This is how it works now!

More actions menu

There are old and new features available inside the More actions/ Issue options menu on the Priority table page:

  • History

  • Open in Jira

  • Clear all metrics
