The Delegated Group Management configuration page allows you to select the owner of a group. The page consists of:
Title | Description |

Group name | The group that is delegated. |
Owner(s) | One or more individuals designated as the owner of the delegated group. Notice that the group name is in bold to differentiate it from a user name. Also, the number of users in the group is displayed next to it. |
Remove | Click to remove an individual from being an owner of the group. |
Stop Delegation | Click to stop delegating the respective group. |
Add owner | Click to designate an owner. |
Add group | Click to add another delegated group. |
Delegate a group
To delegate a group, click Add group. In the Add new group popup window, enter a string in the first box and then click Search to find groups comprising the specified string. Then, select the intended group in the second box and click Add group to begin delegating that group.
After clicking Add group, you are returned to the Delegated Group Management configuration page. The new group is listed, with "no owner specified" in the Owner(s) column.
Add owner to a group
To add an owner, click Add owner next to the intended group. The Add new owner page is displayed.
Select the group owner. You can select a user and/OR a group and then click Add owner to make that individual or group the owner of the group.
Remove delegation from a group
To stop delegating a group, click Stop delegation next to the respective group. The group will be immediately removed from the Delegated Group Management configuration page.
