Notifications - global
Overview
As a global administrator in Confluence global administration
Choose Document Control in the left-hand sidebar:
These options let you manage the app configuration of Comala Document Control.
You can configure email notifications for workflow events.
The other option screens allow you to manage
Configuration for the app behavior
E-signature authentication method for approvals requiring reviewer authentication
Global administrator can also access the Document Activity Upgrade screen to run pre-upgrade checks and upgrade data in legacy spaces to use document activity in v2.0+.
Global configuration - notifications
This screen lets you control the default email notifications for various workflow events.
You can make some of these notifications inactive to reduce traffic for users.
For a user to receive notifications when assigned to an approval or a read confirmation, they need at least the Pages—Add permission in the space.
A user is not sent an email notification if they assign themselves to an approval.
A space administrator can override the global notifications configuration for each space.
