Upgrade from 3.0.x to 5.x

Tasks – Types no longer supported

Task types were removed in v3.2.

As an alternative, use {approval} macro with customised button labels.

Tasks – Multiple assignees no longer supported

Tasks can only have a single assignee. If you have {task} macros with more than one assignee, only the first will be used.

Space Approvals, and Version 2 Workflows – no longer supported

These can only be salvaged in version 3.0. For more details, see the Version 3.0 Upgrade instructions.

You can then upgrade to Workflows 3.1, and from there follow next steps to upgrade to 5.x.

Alternatively, recreate the workflows from scratch to take advantage of all the new features that were added since version 3.0:
