Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app now integrates with Insight (now Assets) and Projectrak (by DEISER)

Insight (now Assets) Integration

Extend your Insight asset and configuration management capabilities for data visualization and actionable insights in Tableau with Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app.

Now Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app offers integration with Insight in Jira Service Management.

  1. Add the Web Data Connector URL generated by Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app to Tableau Desktop as a Data Source to import the data into Tableau. For more information, refer to My Connector URL.

  2. Specify a JQL to pull the issues for the data source. A form displays the Jira and JSM fields. The Insight Attributes and Insight Types get displayed in the fields list. Select the Insight fields for the data source. For more information, refer to Insight (now Assets) Integration.

3. The selected fields get imported in a table format in Tableau.

Projectrak Integration

Extend the capabilities of Projectrak (by DEISER) to export and visualize the required project properties for actionable insights in Tableau with Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app.

Now Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app offers integration with Projectrak - Project Tracking for Jira.

  1. Add the Web Data Connector URL generated by Tableau Connector Pro for Jira DC/Server app to Tableau Desktop as a Data Source to import the data into Tableau. For more information, refer to My Connector URL.

  2. Specify a JQL to pull the issues for the data source. A form displays the Jira and Projectrak fields. Select the Projectrak values fields to import the Projectrak data. For more information, refer to Projectrak Integration.

  3. The selected fields get imported in a table format in Tableau.
