Power BI Jira Connector DC/Server app now integrates with Insight (now Assets) and Projectrak (by DEISER)

Insight (now Assets) Integration

Extend your Insight asset and configuration management capabilities for data visualization and actionable insights in Microsoft Power BI with Power BI Jira Connector DC/Server app.

Now Power BI Jira Connector DC/Server app offers integration with Insight in Jira Service Management.

  1. Create a new Connector URL to pull the required Jira and JSM fields. For more information, refer to My Connector URLs.

  2. The Insight Attributes and Insight Types get displayed in the fields list. Specify a JQL to filter the issues, select the required fields and generate the Connector URL. For more information, refer to Insight (now Assets) Integration.

  3. Add the Connector URL generated to Power BI Desktop as a Data Source to import the data into Power BI. For more information, refer to Import into Power BI.

The Insight data imported through the Connector URL will appear in Power BI as tables.

Projectrak Integration

Extend the capabilities of Projectrak (by DEISER) to export and visualize the required project properties for actionable insights in Microsoft Power BI with Power BI Jira Connector DC/Server app.

Now Power BI Jira Connector DC/Server app offers integration with Projectrak - Project Tracking for Jira.

  1. Create a new Connector URL to pull the required Jira and Projectrak fields. For more information, refer to My Connector URLs.

  2. The Projectrak values get displayed in the fields list. Specify a JQL to filter the issues, select the required fields and generate the Connector URL. For more information, refer to Projectrak Integration.

  3. Add the Connector URL generated to Power BI Desktop as a Data Source to import the data into Power BI. For more information, refer to Import into Power BI.

The Projectrak data imported through the Connector URL will appear in Power BI as a table.
