Confluence compatibility: 8.5.15 - 8.9.x and 9.1.1+
Overview
This release includes several compatibility issues that are breaking changes. This release
is only compatible with Confluence 9 Data Center if you install at least v9.1.1
versions of Confluence Data Center from v9.0.0 up to and including v9.1.0 are incompatible, and the app will not function correctly
requires a minimum of Confluence Data Center v8.5.15 to use the app
requires a global administrator to set a user access token to enable the use of Snapshot Publishing in Confluence 9.1.1 and later
Compatibilities
Confluence versions 9.0.0 - 9.1.0
This release and subsequent versions are not compatible with Confluence v9.0.0 and any Confluence version up to and including Confluence v9.1.0
This is due to the following issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-98341
Upgrade
If using Confluence 9 for Data Center, a minimum of v9.1.1 must be installed for the app to function correctly.
Limitations
The app will not function correctly if it is installed
in a Confluence 9 version earlier than v9.1.1
Global setting user access token required to configure Snapshot Publishing use in an instance using Confluence 9.1.1
To use Snapshot Publishing in an instance using Confluence v9 or later, a global administrator must set a user access token in the Snapshot Publishing global settings.
Upgrade
After installing Comala Publishing 3.2.0 in an instance using Confluence 9.1.1 for Data Center, a global administrator must set a user access token in the app global settings to enable the use of Snapshot Publishing.
Limitations
If the app is installed in Confluence 9.1.1 for Data Center, Snapshot Publishing will not function correctly unless a user access token is set in the app global settings.
Minimum required Confluence Data Center version 8.5.15
This release requires installing a minimum of Confluence 8.5.15 for the app to function correctly. The release is now compatible with Confluence v9.1.1+ for Data Center.
Upgrade
Before installing Comala Publishing 3.2.0, upgrade your Confluence Data Center to at least v8.5.15. For Confluence 9, you must upgrade to at least v9.1.1.
Limitations
The app will not function correctly if it is installed
in an earlier version than Confluence Data Center 8.5.15
in a Confluence 9 version earlier than v9.1.1
