The Jira administrator can delegate the creation of new agile boards to the people that are requesting them. Setting permissions is as simple as selecting the Jira group(s) that should have access to create templated boards.

The Agile Board Template Builder for Jira app allows you to define agile board templates. Create as many different templates as you need to handle new agile board requests. Customize your templates by choosing your:

• Swimlane schemes
• Column schemes
• Quick Filter schemes

Create new Agile boards with ease

Once a user has been empowered to create a new board from a template, they simply go to the Boards dropdown and select "Create Board from Template." After choosing the Board template to use and indicating how to populate the board, supply a name for the new board and click Create Board.

Who is the target audience?

Jira administrators and users that belong to the groups to whom the Jira administrators have given the permission to create agile boards from templates.
