The Cloud version of the connector can now be set to retry failed Salesforce auto-sync jobs automatically. These jobs may occasionally fail due to service disruptions or other factors. 

Failed jobs will be automatically retried up to five times, at approximately 5, 10, 30, 60, and 90 minutes from the first failure.

This Beta feature is not enabled by default. To enable it, a Salesforce administrator must follow the steps below.

Steps to enable auto-sync retry

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Custom Settings. Click on the Action called Manage, which has the Beta Feature label.

    The Beta Feature panel is shown.

  2. Click New to continue.

  3. The Beta Feature Edit panel is shown. Tick the Enable Autosync Retry box to enable it. click Save, and you're done.
