Starting number

The default starting number is 1. If you want to start at a higher number, you can configure it here.

You can add a comma separated list to change the starting number of several levels of headings. For example, adding 1,3,3 starts the second and third heading at 3.

Starting heading

The default heading to start numbering is H1. You can choose a different heading if you want to have unnumbered titles, for example.

Skip headings

All headings are included by default. If you want to skip certain headings, you can configure it here. You can choose multiple headings by separating them with a comma.

For example, if you only want to number headings as 1 - 3, you can skip the rest of the headings by entering this list: H4,H5,H6.

In the server version, you can change the format styles of the numbers added to the headings. This Custom format feature is currently not available in cloud and is still a work in progress. To know more, watch this issue: NH-51 - Getting issue details... STATUS .
