Overview

A Comala Document Management workflow can be added

As only one workflow can be active on a piece of content at any one time remove any existing page mode workflow to add a new workflow.

Adding a space workflow overrides any workflow added individually to a page or blog post.

A user with view and edit permission for the page or blog post can add a page workflow (if there is no active space workflow in the space).

Adding a page workflow to an individual page or blog post (page mode)

If Comala Document Management is installed in your instance a user with view/edit permission can add a workflow to an individual page or blog post by choosing one of

  • the Add Workflow breadcrumb in the content sub-title

    • select Add Workflow to this Page

If current user does not have administrator permission for the space ONLY the Add Workflow to this Page option is displayed in the popup.

Both page tool menu and workflow byline options open the Add workflow picker.

Each of these options opens the workflow picker.

Workflows displayed in the workflow picker are the current workflows available in the current space document management dashboard.

You can select View Detail for a highlighted workflow to view the visual flowchart and a text description of the selected workflow.

In the workflow picker

  • choose the workflow to add to the page or blog pos

  • choose Apply to add the workflow to the page or blog post

The initial workflow state for the applied workflow is added as a breadcrumb to the page or blog post.

Addition of the page workflow is confirmed in an on-screen notification.

Once a page workflow has been added to the page, the page tools menu includes additional options
