This article explains how to use the attachment parameter and how the data is read from an attachment to the current page using the app Flash for Confluence.
Instructions
- Log in as a Confluence administrator.
Navigate to
> Add-ons > Find new apps and search for "Flash for Confluence". Ensure you have Flash for Confluence app installed in your Confluence instance.The app Flash for Confluence supports .swf files as they are designed for efficient delivery over the web. Also, make sure to enable Flash permissions by navigating to Google browser→ Settings→ Privacy and security→ Flash→ Allow.
Log in as any user in your Confluence instance and add an attachment to the page as required.
Insert and Edit the Flash macro.
- Enter the attachment name in the Location of Flash file and click on preview.
- Save the macro settings and publish the page to see the required result.
