If an Administrator has given you the Request New Projects permission, then you can submit a request to have a new project created by doing the following:
From the Projects menu, choose Request new project.
The Request new project screen is displayed and lists each project template that has been defined by the JIRA Administrator.
Click Request next to the desired template to begin your request for a new project.
The following screen is displayed so that you can indicate the name, key and description for your new project. If an Administrator has configured additional questions about your request, then those must be supplied as well.
You can click Back at any time to return to the preceding screen.
If you want to abandon your request, click Cancel.
When you have answered all of the questions, click Submit to submit your request. A confirmation screen will be displayed.
Click Done if you are through making request(s) for projects or Request another project if you have more requests to submit.
