How-to view document activity on your documents

Document activity report

The document activity report tracks all workflow and content interactions on a page. The report is available for each page.

Document Activity is only available in Comala Document Management v7 and later for Data Center.

You can access the report in the following ways:

Here's what the report looks like

The report displays

  • Actor - user who actioned the workflow document activity

  • Action - summary description for each listed document activity

  • Comment – workflow popup comments/notes including approval and reviewer assignment comments/notes, tasks popup comments

  • Date - date and time the document activity occurred

Document report

The Document Report lists all content/pages in the space that have a workflow applied and workflow events and actions information for each document.

To view the report for the current space, choose the Document Report option in the space sidebar.

Here is an example of what the report will look like.

Space, Confluence and System admins can

  • choose the Settings dropdown menu to configure the report columns displayed when the report is accessed in the space

  • click the ellipsis at the top right of the report to access the Workflows Dashboard screen

These options are not displayed for users who do not have admin permission.
