Google Chrome | How to Allow Browser Notifications

🌐 1: Allow notifications in your browser

Click Allow in the pop-up you're seeing in the upper-left corner.

If pop-up does not appear

Go to Settings in Chrome > Privacy and security > Site settings > Notifications.

a) Select "Sites can ask to send notifications" as a default behavior, get back to the previous page, and refresh to get a pop-up as specified in step 1.

OR

b) Add the URL chat-api.spartez-software.com to the "Allowed to send notifications" section manually.

⚠️ Ensure the URL chat-api.spartez-software.com is NOT specified under the "Not allowed to send notifications" section.

🖥️ 2: Turn on Notifications in Your Operation System

Mac OS

  1. System Settings > Notifications.

  2. On the Notifications screen, click on Google Chrome.

  3. Turn on the toggle for Allow Notifications.

Windows

  1. Select Start > Settings > System > Notifications.

  2. Turn on the toggle next to the Google Chrome.

🔔 3: Use notifications in Chat for JSM

Check desired notification options on Chat for JSM > Notifications.

If everything goes well, you'll get notifications like the one below:


If you have done all previous steps but notifications are still not showing up. You may check the following workaround:

  1. Enter  chrome://flags/#enable-system-notifications in the URL

  2. Disable a flag for system notifications.
